He has taken a lead role in soil management within renewables and development planning, conducting Agricultural Land Classifications, Land and Soils Chapters, and Soil Management Plans. His work includes refreshing policies, performing soil surveys, and interpreting climate data. Jason also mentors graduates, encouraging them to pursue associate or technical memberships.

With the introduction of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) offsetting, he has designed soil sampling methodologies, managed sampling processes, analysed soil results, and provided recommendations based on his knowledge of agricultural crops, game cover, and wildflower meadow establishment, as well as RB209 nutrient management. His expertise in soil types and conditions has been instrumental in establishing grassland habitats, such as calcareous and neutral grasslands.

Additionally, he audits Green and Food Waste Compost sites to the PAS 100 standard across England and Wales. His commitment to fostering a more sustainable and resilient agricultural landscape is evident through his comprehensive consulting services, empowering farmers to thrive while preserving the environment.

Pete’s career spans frontline roles with the Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA), where he held responsibilities in TB control, enforcement, business change, and stakeholder engagement across the Southwest of England. He has overseen teams delivering statutory welfare and health inspections on dairy, beef, pig and poultry farms, and was central to the delivery of bovine TB policy administration and outbreak response.

As a qualified Red Tractor, LEAF, and M&S Select auditor, Pete continues to deliver on-farm assessments through his own consultancy, Assured Farm Solutions Ltd, and remains an active auditor for Intertek SAI Global and NSF. He also provides expert support to farmers navigating Environmental

Permitting Regulations (EPR) for intensive pig and poultry units, including permit readiness, and compliance audits. Pete has further experience in biosolids certification, auditing producers against environmental and quality standards for the safe application of treated sludge to land.

He brings practical livestock knowledge through his own farming enterprise, Tale Valley Farming Partnership, where he manages a sheep flock and previously supplied Pipers Farm with free-range poultry and ducks, and growing up on his family’s dairy farm.

Pete plays a key role in supporting JCG’s land use and planning projects with insight into agricultural viability, statutory management requirements, and audit preparation. He is a BASIS trainee member, RoMS-registered mobility scorer, and trained in a wide range of operational certifications from pesticide handling to livestock transport.

Combining lived experience of commercial farming with in-depth knowledge of agricultural legislation, environmental compliance, and assurance systems, Pete is a trusted advisor on agricultural regulation, land management, and rural business resilience.

At JCG Agri-Environmental Limited, George leads on GIS and mapping, using QGIS, AutoCAD, and other spatial tools to support Agricultural Land Classification (ALC) assessments, biodiversity studies, and planning submissions, playing a key role in, site investigations, and reporting, particularly for renewable energy, mineral, and infrastructure clients.

George’s project experience includes mineral resource assessments, peat surveys, earthworks validation, and soil surveys across England, Scotland, and Ireland. He has a robust grounding in health and safety, stakeholder liaison, and digital data capture.

His academic research includes petrochronometry of shear zones in Brazil and co-organising a UNESCO-funded international virtual field course. George has presented internationally and received a development grant from the Geochemistry Group in recognition of his work. As a Fellow of the Geological Society of London, and a member of the British Society of Soil Science, and the Geochemistry Group, George maintains active involvement in the wider geoscience and land management community. He also serves as an Associate Panel Member for Wiltshire Council’s Education Panel, supporting access to educational funding across the county.

George brings a sharp eye for data, strong geospatial capabilities, and a collaborative ethos to every project he supports.

Bill is a Consultant Partner to JCG Agri-Environmental Limited, providing specialist expertise in sustainable land management, assurance systems, and agricultural related assessments.

Previously CEO of Organic Farmers & Growers and The Addington Fund, Bill has spearheaded growth and innovation in organic certification and national rural housing initiatives. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at SAI Global and NSF, where he built and managed assurance programmes covering over one million audits and oversaw budgets in excess of £10 million.

A former sales manager and grain trader, Bill has hands-on experience across arable, livestock, and fresh produce sectors. He is a Nuffield Farming Scholar and remains actively engaged in the rural community, serving on the Risk and Audit Committee for Harper Adams University, and as a committee member of both The Farmers Club and the Worshipful Company of Farmers.

Bill combines commercial insight with a passion for rural resilience, making him a trusted voice in agriculture, sustainability, and charitable governance.
